Artist Profile

Marian Jones gets her inspiration from nature, and shoots landscape photos that she takes back to her studio to recapture the feeling she had when on location.

Currently, she is working on incorporating figures into her landscapes to add scale and life. The graceful movement of Degas' ballerina figures are the inspiration for her paintings of dancers. She also enjoys painting flowers.

Marian is an example of the many talented artists we are fortunate to have here in Lake Wildwood.
